Decently clean pages with no apparent creasing or marginalia; there is some browning and foxing, especially on the margins/edges of many of the pages from age. Many of the foldout plates contain information on various lakes, canals, and bodies of water in the Northern US such as MI, OH, OR, etc. vi-xxii pp., i-xxiv pp., 2651-3544 pp., index:1-28 pp. The front end-page is signed by "A.C.L." and has some graphite marginalia. The binding is loose with about an inch crack at the top of the front and back cover boards. Light brown leather cover boards with bordering design; leather spine with gilt lettering and red and black on the spine. Cover shows rubbing. Overall very good condition.
